HAPPY NEW YEAR!
January meeting report:
1/20/12 Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM by President Chris Surbaugh.
8 members braved snowy weather to attend the meeting.
Treasurer's report- Jack reported we have $459.95 in the club treasury as of Dec. 30, 2011.
During our business meeting Stan suggested adding a class for "armored vehicles" at the Albany Rod and Speed show model contest and possibly our club's shows as well, and Stan and Don gave a nice report on the Albany Rod and Speed show model contest on 1/7/12 and also mentioned that the promoter paid the club $82 ($1 per model entry).
Chris mentioned that we still need to get some club business cards.
The club bought 20 model kits at an estate sale for $5/apiece ($100 total) for our annual donation to Toys For Tots.
Chris adjourned the meeting at 6:55pm and then we had our usual members' show and tell with several people bringing models.

Note: Stan Reeser has an old computer desk which would make a good modeler's desk that he would like to give away- it's 42" wide X 53" tall, and 20" deep. If interested call Stan at (541) 515-5745
Again, this is a FREE desk and Stan said he may be able to deliver it.
